ISO 9001: 2008 Quality Management System

State Engineering Corporation of Sri Lanka achieved  ISO 9001:2008 on 19th February 2009. This is the only Government Engineering, Construction and consultancy Organisation which has achieved the ISO-9001:2008 QMS Certification in Sri Lanka. This is an important milestone of State Engineering Corporation in its history of more than 50 years.

Hon. Minister of Construction & Engineering Services Dr. Rajitha Senaratne and the Secretary of Construction & Engineering Services, Eng. Nissanka Wijeratne participated in the celebration of this  along with other Ministers & SEC clients. It is a unique situation where all the Divisions of SEC - Construction, Consultancy, Construction Components, Mechanical & Electrical, Finance, Human Resources & Administration, Performance Monitoring, Information Management and Technology, Supplies, and Transport, including all permanent and temporary worksites have been awarded ISO 9001: 2008 certification.

This Certification will provide added value to all clients who wish to obtain services from SEC which will have a firm footing to face the challenges in the modern world of Industry to address the complexity and globalisation of issues as it moves forward in the 21st century.
